There are 1.34 billion websites on the web right now and cloudflare hosts 20 percent of all of those I dont want to do the equations on those numbers but I know thats a painful amount. Anyways if you are reading this obviously you would understand at least the bare minimum of how privacy works and why it is so important and if you dont why are you even reading this right now? But think about its a billion dollar corporation that owns 20 percent of all the internet thats a concept from god damn cyberpunk. So now that my privacy blog is ran on corporation infrastructure where do I now host all of my beautiful code and my stupid self just decided to host with github thats owned BY MICROSOFT. Fast foward three months im updating my website and im like holy shit my setup is more corpo then corpo's setups themsleves so I ended up researching the best free options and came across codeberg and realised my domain hoster namecheap has basic dns inbuilt into it. And think about it I dont do much on this website besides plain text and nice looking html and css with no backend so whats the point of me even using the setup I do with all the tracking and useless addons I just switched my self hosted email to namecheap's servers and hosted my code on codeberg. But of course there was an issue like with codeberg there new git-page system and I was one of those unlucky few that had too use that system. I ended up posting my issue on the codeberg community and it got patched anyways I got the lets encrypt certificate and you can now interact with my site knowing its truely private and have a peace of mind! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codeberg
